What would cause a man to destroy innocent human life protected by the womb of a mother? To the God- fearing man, this seems unthinkable...to the man overrun with passionate emotion that has no home, this is real. It's today. It's in Maryland. During Thanksgiving week, we learned about a double homicide (mother and unborn child) and then a suicide, all carried out by an estranged boyfriend in fatherhood. The pain these families are experiencing must be unbearable. We ask you to keep all of them in your prayers.

This tragedy might have been avoided—with the right innocent life messages emanating from the united voice of the pro-life movement, and permeating our culture. To avoid the killing of utterly innocent human life that is connected to emotionally strung-out living, the pro-life movement in Maryland must continue to unite, work in full communion, and address the whole family. This demands an order of things that begins with protecting all innocent human life. This order is integrated with life itself, and our goal of full communion within the movement engages all people of good will inside God's Plan of Generations.

Do you believe there is room within good conscience to always default to protecting as much innocent human life as possible, even when compromise is involved? The sanctifying position embedded in this question can help heal the movement. Almighty God, all of us working for and with Pro-Life Maryland ask for your divine help in the urgent and enormous task of changing the current culture in Maryland to a Culture of Life. Please illuminate our minds and strengthen our wills to achieve our mission. Please help us accomplish our critical and urgent work with purity of heart and intellectual integrity as we pursue truth—in communion with others—to provide paths, to the Road-to-Jericho Continuum, for protecting and saving innocent human life by softening hearts.
