Help The Homeless Walk on the National Mall in Washington, DC, on Saturday,
Nov. 19, beginning at 9 a.m. You can support The Northwest Center Maternity

Physician, physician's assistant (PA) or nurse practitioner (NP): This is
a part-time, paid position with benefits. Applicants must have a current license.
Responsibilities will include providing sonograms and counseling for abortion-vulnerable
clients, performing STD testing, overseeing and training medical volunteers, and
providing outreach to the medical community. Ultrasound training will be provided,
but preference will be given to applicants who have ultrasound experience. ·
Director for our abstinence program: This is a full-time, paid position with
benefits. Applicants must have strong communication and public speaking skills
and be convinced abstinence is the only means to sexual health outside of marriage.
A strong, biblical understanding of Gods plan for sex and the ability to
testify to your convictions and lifestyle are integral elements of the teaching. ·
Development Assistant: This will be a part-time, paid position with benefits.
Responsibilities will include cultivating individual donor and church relations,
managing a speaker's bureau, managing the church liaisons, locating event sponsors,
recruiting event volunteers, and related administrative work. Applicants should
have a bachelor's degree in marketing/public relations (or related field) or equivalent

The Divine Mercy Care Gala to assist Northern
Virginia's Tepeyac Family Center, which supports life in all its stages, will

Interested
in volunteering your time to help support women choose life? The Northwest
Center will be holding a volunteer training for those interested in becoming
pregnancy help counselors and supporting pro-life work within the community, on
Saturday, Dec. 3, 10 a.m.-4 p.m., at The Catholic University of America's
campus ministry office. Bilingual skills are especially helpful but not required.

prayer for life Bishop Loverde of Arlington will celebrate the
monthly Respect Life Mass at St. James Parish, Falls Church, on Saturday,
Nov. 26, at 8:30 a.m. and will lead the recitation of the rosary outside the
Falls Church abortion facility. Bishop Loverde will celebrate the following monthly
Respect Life Mass at St. Rita Parish, Alexandria, on Saturday, Dec. 17,
at 9 a.m.
The National Night of Prayer for Life will begin
at 9 p.m., Dec. 8, and end at 1 a.m., Dec. 9, 2005. Catholics throughout
the county will join in Eucharistic adoration and prayer for an end to abortion.

Stem Cell Research - A Closer Look" will be presented on Tuesday,
Nov. 22, at Riordan's Pub, located at 26 Market Space, Annapolis, MD. The
speaker will be Anthony R. Souza, MTS, President & CEO of Pro-Life Maryland.
The talk is part of a "Theology on Tap" series for young adults (20s
and 30s) sponsored by St. Mary's Parish, Annapolis. "Happy hour" begins
at 6:30 p.m., and the talk begins at 7:30 p.m., followed by Q&A and socializing.
